I received an unexpected email yesterday from HoneyBook and Rising Tide Society, which I love, because the entire philosophy around these collaborative companies is that a rising tide lifts all boats…
Rather than competing from a place of scarcity, these organizations believe in #CommunityOverCompetition!
Specifically, the email said:
“Dear Judy Tsuei
We are emailing you to let you know that you've been nominated for 20 On the Rise! This is the second year HoneyBook and Rising Tide have hosted this initiative, and we’re on a mission to celebrate individuals making waves through their hard work, determination, and creativity in their respective industries.
We wanted you to know that someone believes that the work you’re doing empowers others and is making a lasting impact on the world! Over the next few weeks, we’ll be reading through nominations to select the finalists for this year’s 20 On the Rise, and will announce our award winners on October 15th.”

It’s especially meaningful to me, because I pour all of my heart and soul into these newsletters and everything I do, so it feels incredibly nice that there are people in the world who are grateful for my sharing.
